The royalty calculator gives you three options:
Book Size Pages: This means the manuscript is already sized at
the final book size. ie. 6"x9"
8.5x11: This is to estimate the approximate size of your book
based on your manuscript being type in a letter size page.. Your final
page count will be based on actual book size page count. The reason it is
an estimate is there is no way to accurately determine how many your pages will
be in the final book size. Illustrations, font and font size all play a
part.
Word Count: This is to estimate the approximate size of your
book based on word count. Your final page count will be based on actual
book size page count. The reason it is an estimate is there is no way to
accurately determine how many your pages will be in the final book size.

The actual prices will be determine based on book size pages. 8x5 x
11 and word count is only listed to give an estimate.
